11/21 Skyline

Postby Kenny » Wed Nov 21, 2012 11:28 pm

Wind was on at 10:30 in the morning when Andy and I showed up. I put up the 21, but a 12 would probably have been a better choice. The wind continued to build. Snow quality was excellent with powder shots in the lee area. We rode until 2, when I managed to lose my kite while landing and fortunately snagged on the bushes. I took the walk of shame and saw Peter, Leo, and Ryan arrive for the afternoon shift.

For all of you newbies, Skyline is still a challenge with plenty of exposed bushes and rocks. A good snowfall or two will really open it up.
