Skyline 12-17 12m

Postby Jake-wright » Mon Dec 17, 2012 10:50 pm

Had the pleasure of meeting kenny for the first time and seeing him rip up the mountain. That guy can cover SO much ground so unbeleivably quickly i was in awe. The snow was absolutely fantastic in my opinion, there was about knee deep fluff everywhere in the lower parts (not on bosco) that was a bit wind blown but i'm not complaining. The wind was steady-ish 12m for me. It was pretty overcast today, but visibility was fine and wind was strong...that is, until kenny started rolling up! I wondered why he was leaving seemingly so soon. Not 10 minutes after he left the clouds rolled in and it got foggy, the wind turned devilish gusting wildly all over the place and made things no fun for me so i rolled up at about 3:15. Had a fun time met shiloh? From mt pleasant and travis? From alpine...sorry bad with names, good with faces.

Peter,

There were pockets of fresh, but the hill was surprisingly scoured. I thought it would be an epic day with deep pow, but that was not the case. Hopefully, tomorrow will give up the goods.

It was fun yesterday meeting Jake and Shiloh. I rode 15m and had ample power. I went searching for pow and found it far upwind and at the base of Bosco. Not a great day for gliding as the winds were gusty and the light was flat. I saw a line of squalls coming in and decided to call it a day. Got home just in time for my Kung Fu class, so I was glad that I bailed.

This might have something to do with why the camera up there isn't working.
