2/6 Belmont Shores 21M

Postby Kenny » Wed Feb 06, 2013 10:08 pm

Started out the day a bit underpowered, but within 20 minutes I had enough power to jump. Wind was steady and water was cold. I stayed warm in a 5/4 wetsuit. 3 other riders on the water. 2 struggled to stay upwind. One guy stayed even on a 8' directional and a 17m Edge. As I was packing up, a guy went out on a 12m and a raceboard. Okay day, but I am looking forward to Friday with 20 knot winds in the forecast and waves!

Kenny try seal beach to the south of bellmont just south of where there are two rock walls where boats go in and out of the bay there is a parking lot grass rigging area restrooms and even a cafe the kiters are fewer and more advanced the wind is the same since u r an 8th of a mile south at the most from bellmont but the waves are much better since u aren't in the giant cove where the oil rigs are its a fun spot!
