2/16 Pow Mow 10m

Postby Augie » Sun Feb 17, 2013 12:43 pm

Wind was in the mid to upper 20s out of the SW as close as I could tell. The Pow Mow wind meter went down a few days ago and the best advice I can give for estimating the wind is use the Logan Peak reading. It could be more or less than that at Pow Mow so it is only an estimate and general wind direction guess. The snow was extremely nice except at the very top of the ridge where it was a bit wind scoured. I tore it up by myself for about 2 1/2 hours till Andy the instructor showed up with a KIWI student. I waited till they launched and was about to go again till I noticed a ripped baffle on my manta. I bagged it up and left about 3/

All in all it was an epic day.
