mar 3 punta sur cozumel

Postby Augie » Wed Mar 06, 2013 7:44 am

Winds were 20 mph and the surf was about 3 feet. once I was past the breakers I went for about 2 hours. The wind has died now so I am just snorkeling.

So that's why you weren't at Monte today.
It was powered up kiting all afternoon.

Hey Augie,

I've had Coz on my radar for a while, but my wife would REALLY like some sort of all inclusive place to stay (she doesn't kite). The north end looks really cool, and it sounds like you were at the south end - well, really the whole island looks cool. Have you seen anything all inclusive that might work? Or can you tell me if there are any good places to stay near a good launch?

Thanks! Chris

Pep a few years ago I stayed at royal hideaway in Playa del carmen same body of water as Cozumel just on the Mexico side not on the island place was great and reasonable it was before I kited but there were liters out on the water they launched from the sand beach in front of the resort

Playa del carmen has a better beach right by the hotels. Cozumel really doesn't have great beaches close to the hotels. The best side of Cozumel, island for kiting is the south side but you need a car or get a taxi. All inclusives are everywhere. I am at cozumel palace and it is amazing. Next week I will be in Cancun which is full of all inclusives also.
