3/10 Lake Creek

Marty and I both agreed it was the best session for either of us of the season. A welcome surprise despite the warm valley temps, meager storm totals,and light wind forecast. It ended up being cold with excellent new powder and rock steady 11 meter wind. Amazing, incredible, stupendous LC session! Great too see that strawberry was good today as well.

Spectacular, powerful, creamy, beautiful... Not enough words!!
I think the NNE winds for the day leading up to yesterday, filled in our kite spot with a great layer of fresh.
We didnt even get there until 2PM, by then it had switched to NNW winds, and with the valley warming, thermal effect, it made for great winds.
We covered more ground than normal, going clear down almost to the lower tree line. My favorite was playing on the terrain features that are so abundant up there.
Bonus of big glowing sunset on the ride down.
I want more!!!
