A sunny and chilly 44 degrees when I pulled in. Marty and Doug pulled in just as I was about to launch. I rigged 12, but the 10 would have sufficed. M on 11, D on 10. I was pretty toasty in a drysuit, hood, gloves and booties. Probably would have been cold in a wetsuit given the mid-40s temps (but I'm a wimp). A wetsuit would probably be fine if it was 60 degrees. Wind was ~20mph gusting to maybe 25. N to start and swung NW later, geting gustier. Looked like a lot more water had filled in since Jason M's report. The wide south end of the lake is all water, but not very deep. I took a run down there and its maybe 6" deep and definitely not as big as last year. Looke like there's still a lot of snow in the surrounding mountains to melt. Another week of warm temps and I think it will at least approach the same depth as last year.
