After work session for me.
Arrived to 10M-12M kites on the water.
Smooth winds made for a great time on the water.
Josh was windsurfing, short reaches.

Couple of vehicles parked very close to the water,
Hope they park farther back next time, for safety reasons.
Seems reasonable to have a beach buffer without cars.

Good point, Marty. We should try to park at least 100' away from the water so if things get ugly, people can land with dry footing and not have to worry about putting it down into a car.

How is the reach and depth at Rush?

-----Park you car upwind where you are going to launch and land your kite dowwind from the car----

Unless you are parking close to shore to slide your car then I'm down to watch and slide it with you.;)

We have definatly kited there with less water.
All I can say is get it while its there, it won't last a long time.
Wetsuit,,,, no gloves, no booties, no hood, no problem.

Like a wise man once said

Rush is Plush,,,,,kiting

That was me parked near the water. I always park there when there are no others kiters so I can tether the kite to my truck and launch it from the water. I hate self-launching/landing at rush on the ground. Too many sharp sticks and who knows what for my taste. I will still park near the water if I'm the only one or first one there but will make an effort to park further upwind from where everyone else parks.

Chase,
You we not the only one parked by the water.
and you were not the one that launched up wind of the cars and
not the one that has an upwind of cars episode.

Let's all strive for safety
