5/24, DCBWB, 12 meter, 139 twin tips

The wind was a lot stronger than forecast. When I arrived at 1:20 p.m., Alex was already out and John had pumped. Mark got there about the same time. I was too optimistic with my first choice, a 9 meter. But if I had the big board, I would be able to stay upwind and be out there for more fun. Came in to pump a 12 meter when Kenny showed up. Marty, Chris, Jason and a few others all had a fun filled couple of hours. Jim arrived around 4 for the late session. Wind was ok by DC standard.

Leo- I was just poking fun at the plural "twin tips". And I am not cool!! Riding a surfboard on a lake mowing the lawn is not cool in the eyes of a real surfer. I'll bring one for you today to ride if you want to try out a directional.
