Craig's Turkey Week Mohave Forecast

Postby Craig Goudie » Sat Nov 23, 2013 9:58 am

Today looks like a rainy drive down especially from Cedar City clear to Cabinsite, but there isn't much wind likely today anyway,
and you might as well drive down to the South end of the lake for the North winds later this week.

11/24 Sunday: Clouds and rain abate around Noon and there may be a couple of hours of 8.5/17 from the North at Cabinsite Cove.
Temps peak around 62 degrees in the afternoon.

11/25 Monday: Good potential for 6/12M North winds PM at Cabinsite under sunny 65 degree air temps.

11/26 Tuesday: Another big gear day with North 8.5/17 possible mid day, then tapering off late afternoon. Sunny 65 degree air temps again.

11/27 Weds: Winds remain North, but die off substantially. Best bet will be Cabinsite, but it might be better to SUP in the 68 degree
partly cloudy air, unless you get lucky with some planable puffs.

Thanksgiving: Grab Sunday brunch on your way out of the Bullhead area and head North to 6 Mile Cove for some 7/14M South winds PM
with air temps in the 65 degree range under PC skies.

11/29 Friday: Winds switch back North to favor Cabinsite again, but don't expect much more than planable 8.5/16 puffs PM with
PC skies, and mid 60s air temps.

11/30 Saturday: North winds enhance enough for 7/14M conditions, under mostly sunny near 70 degree skies at Cabinsite

12/1 Sunday: North winds will temp you to stay for another day of 7/14 conditions at Cabinsite with mostly
sunny skies and near 70 degree temps.

Thanks for all the kind words about this years Summer forecasts. I'm off to look for good airfare to Maui(where the shark forecast
seems to have gone nuts!). See you all next Summer season.
