It was the coldest yet at 43 degrees. Heck with global warming, I have had to wear my hood all 7 times I have sailed. The wind meter was 22 gusting 23 when I rigged. That is near 5.7 for me on the Grants meter but, since it was so cold, I knew I would do good to last an hour so I went with the 7.0. If it is going to be a short sesh I want it fast and furious and it was. Didn’t come of a plane for the 1st hour. I ended up making it 1.5 hours with one break to warm the hands. The wind seemed to die promptly when it hit 50 degrees. Skied yesterday and had a sweet sail sesh today. What a great place to live.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
