4/5 Rush 17m + 148 TT - Sunset

Postby gregwojtkun » Sat Apr 05, 2014 7:00 pm

It was worth the wait...

Showed up @ Rush around 1:30 to rain and stale winds (4-6kts). Thought about bagging it, but at a sandwich and waited it out. Glad I did... Skies opened up to sunshine around 3pm and winds got steady @ 8-10kts NNW. Rigged the 17m w/ 148 LW TT. Had some really nice smooth water laps from 3:30-5pm. A few lulls but was pretty nice when on. Was still on at 5pm+. I had to leave for dinner plans, otherwise I would of stayed some more laps while the sun set behind the mountains.

Finally learning the toe side transition... What a fun sport
