Drove through snow, sleet and rain to get there. It was great to see a sun spot on Saratoga when I came over Point of the Mountain. John and I got there about 1:00 to 48 degrees and no wind. It got cold, cloudy and windy fairly fast but we didn’t get serious about rigging until the sun came back out. Wild screaming reaches from the start with nicely formed waves. Occasional lulls but definitely +4.2 at the peaks. Absolutely wild sailing until we pulled off at 5:30. Could have easily been on my 76L board but was in speed sailing mode on the little iSonic and having a blast. At least equal to our great Grants sesh 2 weeks ago. All John and I could do when we came off the water was to smile and high-5. Have to love the heated restroom. A large flock of Pelicans entertained us while we rigged. Eric, Mike E, and Steve joined us.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
