Arrived at 1 p.m. and see not much going on. The wind started to show by 1:30. It was great for 2 hours. Then the clouds rolled in by 3. By 3:30, it got weird (well, it became Deer Creek). Fun 2 hours. Spencer, Ralph, John, Jim H., Todd, Mike, Aussie, Brian and another kiter (Robbie?) and two poleboarders all had fun.

I was one of the poleboarders. Like Leo, I wasn't much impressed by what I saw when I arrive although I was pleased to see that there were still good parking spaces available - what a difference from a couple of weeks ago!! Anyway, it looked so bad that I rigged my rarely used 9.5, which proved to be a good choice initially but became a bit of a "hand full" around 4.

I am so glad I came in before that 30 mph gust came through. Would have been a superman on the 15.
