As usual, Craig nailed it; the wind did, indeed, come up just before noon, it was quite steady (for DC) and was (initially, at least) plenty strong enough for a 7.0. And it would have been possible to keep sailing until 5 or even 6, albeit with a somewhat larger sail.

I did kited until about 6. I was on a 15 meter and Billy on a 15 and foil board. Spencer on a 17. They both came around 5:30. I got the full second shift. :mrgreen:
