The dreaded thunderheads never materialized. Sailed 4-6pm when it tapered and I had to get home to dinner. Very nice. I'd do that again. I must have just missed George.

The boat traffic was mild. The temps were perfect. Gotta love those mid week sessions in August. The water level has dropped below the ramps by the beach. There were 2 beginners in addition to myself and another 2 sailors. Didn't catch any fish this time.

Where was Jim? I'd be interested in his wind graph.

I was driving through the Gorge on my way back from visiting my daughter in Portland. Didn't have my gear, alas; there were sailors on the water at all of the usual spots from Home Valley all the way to Rufus.

Didn't get back in time to download the DC data from yesterday.

I'm going to Stumptown (Portland) this week too. It's hard to believe you could drive up there without at least just 1 little board and 3 small sails. You are a better man than I. You can bet I won't be able to resist and am going to have to stuff some gear in the van before pointing north on 15...

JIM,

What are you thinking!? Sounds like sadism or masochism to me! If you drove by Rufus Tuesday afternoon... Well, you could a stopped and I'd have let you sail whatever you wanted!!! Next time stop by, chances are you'll find a Utard there! ... :) :) :)... ;)

Rick,

I really appreciate the offer! Wish I'd known you were at Rufus!!

I'm not feeling too sorry for myself right now though, because John Dubock, Dave O' and I will be heading up there Tuesday evening. Will you still be there? I so, let's see if we can get together. My mobile number is:
435-671-1348.

Jim,

Actually, I am sad to say that I am back here in SLC... But I am ecstatic to hear that you three are going up there... The twins are soon to follow... And once they do... It's all over!!! John, get ready to move up to the Oregon area! ;) Have fun! I'm jealous!
