There's something very special about Utah lake on a solid north wind day. I had aerated my lawn earlier in the day so I only had 90 minutes of 'gas in the tank' so-to-speak. But not a minute of it was wasted on schlogging whatsoever. It was for me 90 minutes of solid planning to the point of where perception is altered so that it no longer seems like one is moving over the water but rather that the water is moving past ones-self (velocitized?). Then to stop moving is for a moment disorienting.
The lake is shallow to the point of where swell cannot really form which is a shame. I would have preferred bigger ramps to ride. But that was the only detraction from what was an otherwise spectacular experience. Thanks for being there to share guys!
