Stockton bar was +40mph so I figured, based on pre-frontal winds this year, Grants was either dead or blowing great. Thankfully it was the latter. It was 47 degrees when I got there at 8:30; ouch, that is a long way from +80 degree water/air temps I have been enjoying in Maui. But thankfully no 18’ waves. The wind was staying consistently above 20 so it was off to the races on the 5.2 and the little iSonic race board. Started off cloudy but cleared to mostly sunny within a half hour. Came off the water to rig the 4.7 at 11:30 but it went dead for a bit then went a little more SW and quite gusty. Went back out on 5.2 for another 40 minutes hanging on for dear life at times and then the body gave out before the wind. Still blowing nice when I drove off at 1:00; wished I had the energy to keep going. Great morning.

PS: There aren't any wind readings for Grants Reservoir because the propeller is missing. John found someone from the county willing to replace it last time this happened. I will get with if he doesn't see this 1st.

Bunch of us were at UL Lindon - Not much was happening from noon until about 3:30. Too much South was the culprit we think. I was waiting for the SW to kick in for my 9m. It did around 3:30! Good wind until about 5pm - Todd, Billy, Andrew, Asi, Jim, Charlie , Leo, and a new guy Greg were there as well. Smiles all around to close out the water season!
