The season is open at Grants... Mike E., Mike (the other Mike), Ken O and myself enjoyed a pretty good opener. Sails on the water ranged from 5.4 to 7.0. Pretty good gusts would come through, some tail-walking, but then it would mellow out. Wind really started to get funky around 1:00. However for the first day, it was nice to be somewhat in control. Water level decent, not a bad walk to the water, water temp not too bad... all in all a good first day. Hopefully we will get a few more decent storms to fill up our playgrounds.

Water temp not too bad spoken by the only one of us with a drysuit. Great to get out.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.

And so it begins @ Grantsville. Thanks for the report. I was expecting it any day and here it is. Appears the wind meter is still inop?
