The lake was covered with whitecaps when I came around the corner at 1:00. It had averaged high 20’s for 19 hours. By the time I rigged the 5.2 it was backing off and by the time I rigged the 6.0 it was gone. Rigged the 7.0 and got some planers for 1.5 hours before it really backed off. Pretty disappointing when it drops like that. Still, how often have I sailed Thanksgiving weekend. Definitely warmer than Wednesday.
