Charlie, Billy, Leo and myself braved the snowy launch to get the first water session at DC. Air temp was high 50's and sun. Wind came up at about 1 pm as the direction clocked from South to SSW/SW. Gusty of course but good 12m surfboard session for me. Charlie and Billy were we on small kites and foilboards and Leo was on a 13 twintip. Some ice remains in the shallows which was fun for walking out. Was plenty warm in a 5/4 suit, hood, gloves and booties. The water is high but the clearing work that was down in the bushes last fall makes for a great entrance and exit. Big thank you and shoutout to those who helped (in one way or another) with that project last fall!! The launch would be very tricky without it. It was great being back out on the water!
