Got there at 8:00 to winds so light the bugs were a problem. Should have been +20. John, Grant, Mike A, and I finally rigged some big gear around 9:30 and started getting some minimalist rides. But it did continue increasing and we started getting lots of planers. John and Grant left around 11:00 and I decided to go from the 8.5 to the 7.0. It wasn’t too long before I rigged the 115 race board and was screaming across the lake in +20 winds having a blast. Left around 1:30 with Sarah just catching her first planer. Looking back it was a great morning but it could have started a little earlier. Nice to be in my 3mil summer suit as the arms sure last longer.
