Already tired from so much sailing yesterday and end up with one of the longest, highest wind, days at Grants this year. Not complaining though. On the water a little after 8:00 with last meter reading 27G33. Chose 5.2 over 4.7 and the 5.2 was ok because the wind had dropped off a couple of mph by the time I rigged. Still, maxed out even with maximum outhaul. By 10:00 I came in licking my wounds as Josh and Greg? showed up. Rigged 6.0 for the 22mph winds and did fine until it climbed back up to 27 again. Too bad I had derigged the 5.2. Hung on for dear life until 1:00 and bagged it. Went assuming I would see more rain than wind and ended up having a great small board morning (same as yesterday, don't believe NOAA).
