Looked like wall-to-wall white caps as I drove toward the lake, but when I got to the beach, it became apparent that it was pretty gusty, 5-6 Kt punctuated by gusts as high as 25 Kt on the meter! What to rig. Decided to go relatively big (7.5) and take my lumps in the gusts. Turned out to be a good call, as the wind did finally smooth out. Judy Collins rigged about a meter smaller and was still out running me on my old Fanatic Shark! Alberto and George Ward, who was trying for a double (see posts on Grantsville) arrived as the wind was starting to fizzle.
