Sat, was an adventure day for me, 9.0 and the Fat board. Started out the first reach, side by side with Craig, that was cool, but then he dusted me......I decided to head up wind and head for the dam. I got some pretty good agles upwind, with the wind having a bit of a west push. I Was surprised to see so many ws'rs @ SBB, as I sailed through. I Made it up to the dam boueys pretty well powered, and then started back. I could tell that it was getting lighter, but I was still able to plane all the way back to Rainbow before I was schlogging. Then I headed straight downwind and back to the beach. It was a good adventure.
Sun Looked to be stronger wind when we arrived, so I rigged a 6.2 and Linda a 6.5. We got a few rides, then the wind backed off a bit. I started pulling out the Fat gear, when the wind kicked up again. So then I decided to rig my new 7.2, that I had been wanting to try. Got a few rides on that too, but the wind did not stay filled in, and then it was time to go. Over all a good sailing weekend.
