Late Thursday afternoon and friday... Was actually able to scrap a few good rides between clouds. But I'd call it a desperate effort. If I didn't have cell phone reception from there allowing me to get some work in it wouldn't have been feasible or worth it...

It was actually really fun for the stormwatching...

Rick, it's a brave and honorable soul that will admit to getting sorta skunked in public, particularly when a road trip was required. My hat's off to you for trying, and at least getting a good nature injection. I bet it wasn't crowded!

Well... I can't say it was even a sorta skunk... But it as may well have been if you make a water time over trip time fraction... We could sit at the Round Table and (literally and figuratively) and have an official vote on what that fraction would be... 2/10ths or 20% or more of the time... Nah, I like feet in the footstraps one good jibe...

Quite honestly, I am a stormwatcher at heart and if I can be at the right place at the right time to watch a REALLY violent storm, I'll take it! It was wild watching this one cloud and it's downburst moving in from the south end of the lake opened up by a bolt of lightning...

It wasn't crowded no... But there were still people there?!?!? Blew my mind... However, they all moved out by friday afternoon when I moved out. I am a little nervous about what our society has been reduced to if admitting to a "skunk" in public is considered brave and honorable! ;) None the less, I appreciate the thought Dimitri.

We've got some more days out there I think... Maybe... Hopefully...
