Drove thru Heber on my way to the lake. As I approached the lake it looked more like an angry ocean. One brave sailor was just starting out from island beach. I was relieved to find a more "normal" deer creek day at sail boat beach. John Freed and Ken Onstott were already upwind by the time I got on the water. Although there were a few lulls the wind was strong enough to keep 6's and 7's moving. Towards the end of the day it seemed to get steadier with John and Ken streaking back and forth.
Well I think I have pushed my patient family to the end this season. Or maybe it is my cracked fin, or maybe my tired body. But I think I will say that was my last time out this year. It was a good way to end.
