Arrived at 12:00 with NW winds 4-8 mph, Started to pump up the 13 Instinct sport but soon realized that it was building to 15-20+ with snow blowing off of the surface. Put up the 10M Frenzy, soooEZ, Kited for about 2 hrs, nicely powered in 6-8" POWDER mainly on the lake, still learning on the snow board. Took a rest and so did wind now about 8-15, rigged up the 12, again sooooEZ, just right , this time played on the rolling terrain to the west of the lake, got my first jumps, much longer than high but so much easier on snow board, for me at least, than skiis. Good cover, the bigger hills still have some sagebrush but much better than a week ago. Left around 4:00, noticed several kiters out at Chicken Creek West. Nobody at strawberry river.
GREAT DAY looks like more of the same tomorrow. Can't wait. Just a little foreplay leading up to the BIG SHOW at SKYLINE this weekend, BE THERE or MISS OUT.

Hey Jon,

Tom, Billy, Stumper, two of Billy friend's and I were just at chicken creek today. Playing around on the hill.

Got back from the kitestorm in Vermont. Deep snow at lake champlin with great snowkiting sessions there. Back home with two feet of freashies at Strawberry. What a week.

I hope to see you this weekend at Skyline.
