This guy emailed me with interest in decorating for a trade show in windsurfing gear! Sounds cool to me... Let's help him out... Call him if you want to give or lend out your older gear.... Rick M. you have some colorful classics I saw at the swap!

"I have a unique request. SalesWest is a food brokerage and we are doing a trade show with the theme of Tropical Islands. We would like to decorate our booths in windsurfers. Who and where can I get info on rentals?"

Talked to Kip, his June 13 show is at the Sandy Convis center, he needs either a Hobie Cat or a bunch of rigged sails in the background of his booths. I pushed for a club donation, he pushed for donating food to the club. Having just fit into my wetsuit after the winter correct me if I'm wrong but not many of us sailors have missed a meal in 20 years. As the elected UWA equipment manager/water boy I'm tasked with consulting here, so throw in some ideas and lets make some money for the club. In a prior life I sold mammoth trade show booths and gear can quickly disappear post show.

Hmmm...

Well... I've got a sail/rig that I could donate for him to use...

He could make a sign saying "Windsurfing gear donated by the Utah Windriders Association"...

By the way, I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting a couple kites in there?! Although kites would be a little more difficult to use...

There ya go... Call John Dubock if you want to donate some old gear for the weekend... Maybe he can supply our "Tropical" food for the Sulphur Creek Campout Sarah! ;) (not time for the sooner events...)

I am looking for any free boards. Old, crappy, too long, too short, too ugly, whatever.
I need around ten boards for my project.
If they are taking up space in your garage email me.
And no, I am not interested in buying them.

I will come and get them from you. just email me.
