Lincoln 5/29 11M Instinct "With Pics"

Postby Dave Birkbeck » Tue May 29, 2007 10:32 pm

Lincoln was top notch today! We had about 10 kites up at any given time. Just about everyone was sending the big lofty airs. I was perfectly powered on my 11 Instinct. It was good to see some familiar faces.

Here are a few pics that I took before I left. Enjoy!

Great pictures Dave. Thanks. Great to see you out riding for your first Utah session this year. Padre, D.R. then Lincoln. You've got the life. Everyone was going off last night. Huge air, tricks, spinning, kite loops. All you guys are tearing it up. I was in awe. Didn't hit the water till 7pm and rode till almost 9pm when it just completely shut off. I would have to say that the swell was the BIGGEST I have ever seen at Utah lake. By far. It was an awesome session. It was also CROWDED. Never thought I would say that about kiting in Utah, but I think we have crossed that junction. Thanks Jake for letting me ride the Waroo Pro 13m. My 15m Instinct was too big and my 11m would have worked but the 13m was perfect. Hope it happens again. Marty, I don't want to say it but............!!!!!

WHAT.......SNOOZE YOU LOOSE??????

The boss can't always leave,
expecially when I'm filling in for vacationers, and graduates.

We had those killer winds Monday,
now you know why we "checked out" of the crossing.

Good Job on those picture Dave. Let us know when you are coming.

Yesterday was an EPIC day. Everybody was charging it yesterday.

Sal was getting massize boost with the 14m Waroo. keep it up Man

Stoke, Chris, Spencer, and Billy were stepping it up with the unhook trick.
Pretty soon they will doing handle passes.

Jason Morton doing some speed and massize spray on the jib. Watching someone doing that make your eye lock. Waiting for the next jib spray. WHO NEED WAVE...

Jesse got his Boosting down perfectly.

Some of the new kiter like Matt and Chris' brother (forgot his name Sorry dude, I'm bad with name) are moving up fast since the last time I saw them. They are already going up wind with ease.

KEEP CHARGER AND KITE SMART DUDE!!!

Can't see another day like that again.
