6/8 Rush 20M Waroo & Silverarrow

Postby Kenny » Sat Jun 09, 2007 7:49 am

Arrived to good wind. Pumped up my 20M. Had some good rides and then the wind started to back down. Pulled out the Silverarrow and the wind became more marginal. Checked the wind record and I managed to ride during the worst part of the day. Penny's was actually spot on with 4 mph lulls and 15 mph gusts. Rode about 90% of the time, but I wish I had gone a bit earlier or a bit later.

The water level is actually a little higher today than it was on Tuesday, nothing substantial, but if we had a rain storm like that every week, Rush would stay in business all summer long. Of course, that is not going to happen in this desert, but at least the rain storm gave us another week of mining the gold Rush.
