Sleds for back country snowkiting

Postby Marty Lowe » Sun Nov 25, 2007 1:03 pm

The places we ride snowkiting is like tunnel vision.
Everything is close to the roads.
Nice, but the back country must be unbelievable.

I'm thinking pretty serious about getting a snowmoblie to have better access.

Anyone else thinking along these lines.

Brian, Heather have sleds.
Jake has sleds now.
Spencer and Chris N.

Who else?

I wouldnt have the cash if I wanted to throw down. I did a quick calculation, i could rent a sled 5 to eight times peryear for the next 3-5 years and it would be cheaper than depreciation and maitenance, buying a new sled anyways. Thatd be cool if the locals sniffed out new backcountry areas.
