Any recommendations for Sat?

Postby john l » Fri Dec 28, 2007 9:45 pm

I was worried about white out type conditions at Skyline for Saturday but the forecast has dropped a bit from the morning. Anyone have a feel if I should still be worried about it being a white out there tomorrow? Also, would Strawberry be good with wind out of the west? Still trying to get a feel for which forecasts work the best at different locations.
thanks

Jon and Kenny are on their way to Skyline now, before the possible whiteout conditions later.

Strawbs looks doable also. IMHO

A few of us are going to try Sulphur, with some newer kiters.

Thanks Marty. As Jon's post said, I ended up running into him and kenny up by skyline. What a great day. Has to be the biggest air I've gotten kiting yet. The snow was just great too. Definitely a day to remember.

We took turns on my 5M after Doug rigged his 9M, then his 7M.
The surface was typical bumpy wind blown hard pack,
with stashes of powder that kept shifting around.
Mostly by the shore.

New kiter on the 2.5m, then a few runs on the 5M

Not much coverage on the hills, to much wind for it to stick.
