Where to Ride 7/17

Postby Craig Goudie » Sun Jul 17, 2005 8:00 am

Another Summer day of planers. Good Kite boarding today. Rush
should be pretty good and pretty steady on the North winds all day.
I don't think you'll get onto the 10 M stuff, but take it just in case.
ULSSB Should be good and steady from about Noon on into the evening,
though not as strong as Rush (prolly 15 M stuff).
Windsurfers will get more good rides
at Sulfur today on a fairly steady West wind. Probably a 1/2 meter
bigger than what you rode yesterday up there. Should be some 7.5/8.5
planers at Saratoga Springs also for the windsurf crowd not prepared to take
the 1.5 hour ride to Sulfur.

Cooler around SLC today, if you call upper 80s cool.

Craig, Thanks for the forecast. ULSSB turned on for epic rides all afternoon.

From 1pm we were out and kitesurfed on every board and kite from 7 meter to 10 to 12 to 14 meter Frenzy's and got sessions on boards from 131 to 169.

One of the better days that Utah lake has offered. I rode, had great sessions, got tired and called it a great day. Heather and Jake had their second days on the water and each had a great time learning in the good wind.

If only ulssb turned out these rides everyday!!!

Fun riding, easy upwind, and fun airtime, Thank you Utah!
