2-3 Volunteers Needed for the Video Night

Postby Josh Shirley » Thu Apr 24, 2008 10:19 am

I need 2 or 3 volunteers to help me out next Thursday night. If you have a laptop with wifi and/or wireless then I need your help.

Also I could use 1 person with a laptop that has wireless internet (sprint, tmobile, qwest, verizon, etc.) for the swap on May 3rd.

Please email or respond to this posting so I can count you in.

Thanks

Have laptop, wireless... and a projector/sound system for playing vids from computers or DVD's.
Planning to be at the UWA meeting.

Heather is preparing a slide show from the Alaska tour... as another eye candy option.

See you there.

Hey Josh, I have a laptop with wireless and also a sprint card. I'd be happy to bring it to both events, for what ever is needed. Sarah

I read meeting at 7 then video/beer 8-10.
Landing at 8:30 at the airport it should still be worth it to come over and check things out right?

Of course it will be worth it Emmanuel!

BTW Plage Leucate was amazing! Take a look at what I stumbled into:

Rick-
Did you go to Leucate? Pretty cool place. I've been there for speedsailing events. Did the Tramontana blow?

Well, the day I was there, we got there around 3pm and the competition was pretty much winding up and it was a kiting day. But they said that it blew pretty strong... That place is amazing... Yes, I stood on the wooden bleachers that are on the shoreline for flatwater... I can easily see where they can get some high speeds... I was going to sail but it was a little late and chilly... Plus we still had to get to Carcasonne, the only walled city in Europe I guess. My mom and I here. It was pretty awesome how integrated all the sports were at the event...
