[DC looks to give up another thermal in the 7/12M range around 1 which should last for several hours.]

Craig was right.

Josh taught us well. Was rigged and ready for the thermal which started about 12:30. 2.5 hours of great fun for one of the latest rookies... :)))

Saw a few kiters down by BB beach also.

And two poleboarders (Angela and me) down at Chucktown. Not as punctual as Mark; didn't get on the water until about 1:45. Excellent wind for about the first 45 min, then it got pretty punchy.

Jim's description of punchy is correct. First time out this fall. Also felt that way at sailboat beach. My 7.2 was a good size for the punches. Did get steady for a period of 45 minutes though. Thanks for your charts Jim, between you and Craig we can bank on the forecast this time of year.
