Park City snow kiting in Feb

Postby David Norman » Thu Dec 09, 2010 7:17 am

I'm a Brit, live in Bermuda, been kiteboarding for 8 years. Skiing in Park City second week in Feb and looking to give snow kiting a go. Are there any schools/guides who could help me out? Are there any suitable locations close to Park City etc etc? I could bring a kite if necessary but not sure on sizes, any intros/advise very welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Personally I would recommend bringing a 16/17 meter kite and a 10 m kite. We get a lot of light wind here. I you can fit a 13, bring that too.

Taking up precious family luggage space with my "stupid" kites probably won't go down too well as a full quiver or no kites sounds like the answer.

Windzup, did you get my e mail? Can I reach you on a phone number? Many thanks

FYI Sunday over here looking like 25 knots SE with clear skys, water still in the low 70s ;))
