Hi everyone,
this is Darren Sayers aka "Derik".
Almost 7 years ago, I had an kiteboarding injury at South Bay on Utah Lake. I was in a coma for 2 weeks and in the hospital for 2 months.
A couple of years later I was diagnosed with Non-hogkins Lymphoa Cancer.
I am still rehabing from the kiteboarding injury and the cancer is in remission.

I wanted to let everyone know about a great charity Iam glad to be a part of. It's called "Cancer for College".
Cancer for college provides scholarships to college students who are living with cancer and its effects.
Will Ferrell is lending his support to this charity. Maybe you have heard about his "Cup with a Cause" program at 7-eleven for Cancer for College.

Anyway, this is a great program and I am excited to be a part of it. Those of you who know me, know that I get very involved with things I am passionate about.
I am asking for all UWA riders to help support this program.
